We deeply appreciate your dedication to our Lord as well as your support for the community of St. Dominic Priory and our Dominican mission of preaching and teaching the Gospel. We want to thank you for all you do as friends in Christ, update you with some very good news, and ask for your help.
Our Provinces of St. Albert the Great and St. Martin dePorres are greatly blessed. We are experiencing significant growth in new vocations in service to the Lord. We have 35 young men in formation (25 students and 10 novices) and are truly elated by this surge of vitality! Our graduate school of theology and ministry, Aquinas Institute, is nationally-renowned. It has recently moved to a beautifully renovated building in St. Louis to accommodate more students preparing for the priesthood and for service to the Church as religious and lay ministers. We have also have a refurbished St. Dominic Priory with a century old chapel complete with vintage stained glass windows to provide a distinctively Dominican home for our student brothers and the priests who help form them.
We are richly blessed. At the same time, with these opportunities come challenges. As Dominicans, we are challenging ourselves to raise $8.4 million. In light of these essential needs, we ask that you prayerfully consider a transformative gift. Your offering will both lead and encourage our other friends to be generous as we invite them to participate in this compelling opportunity.
